A very nice, newly built dormitory in the middle of the countryside - and yet right near the city. The location is perfect - only a few minutes by bus to the city and yet all around only fields and meadows. The apartments are very nicely divided and generally brightly designed. All in all, a very idyllic place where you like to feel at home after university.
Location
Whether you’re looking for a dorm or a shared apartment, Studentennest is a mix of both. The advantages of a student dormitory packed into a shared apartment. In addition, the proximity to the universities, especially to the Med Campus at the LKH Graz is unbeatable.
Also the Karl-Franzens-University or the TU Graz are easy to reach by bike or bus. The bus stop is right next to our driveway.
The best thing about the nest is probably the fact that there are no annoying neighbors. In rural idyll (sounds bland, but it’s not) you can get everything you need for your cooking in the organic food store Fuchs, just around the corner. You don’t want to cook yourself? Then head to Buschenschank Sattler (a legend) or Stifting Stubn – they’ll do the cooking for you.

COSTS
A shared room costs you 395,- € per month.
The monthly rent is an all-inclusive price that is deducted from your account every month, one of the great advantages of a dormitory, isn’t it? We want to make it as easy as possible for you.
You don’t have to worry about running costs, electricity, heating, hot water, internet, use of the laundry room or renting all the furniture.
For each room of a shared apartment there is a deposit of 800,- € at the moment of moving in. A one-time fee of 195,- € has to be paid at enrollment. If you would like to have a parking place in front of your door, it costs 40,- € per month extra.
